Tweeddale Ramblers. Glenshiel Banks and Loch Eddy. A moderate walk from Glen Home Farm Steading, ascending on a track to Glenshiel Banks, followed by a moorland path to Loch Eddy. Return along a track beside the Quair Water. 9.30 am meetingin Kingsmeadows car park. 4.3 miles/ 7km, ascent 492 feet/150m.


Sunday 9:

Tweeddale Ramblers.Cheviot via Bowmont Valley. Astrenuous walk from Cocklawfoot Farm, ascending Auchope Rig, joining the Pennine Way, and ascending to Auchope Cairn, Cheviot Peak. Traverse the Pennine Way over Score Head and Kings Seat and descend to start via Clennell St (Old Drovers Road). 8.45 am meetingin Kingsmeadows car park. 11.4 miles/18.4 km, ascent 2461 feet/750 m.


Sunday 16:

Tweeddale Ramblers.Grey Mare’s Tail Circular. Astrenuous walk from Grey Mare’s Tail Car Park, ascending by Grey Mare’s Tail path to Lock Skeen then to Lochcraig Head, Firthhope Rig and White Coombe. Return via Tail Burn. 9.30 am meetingin Kingsmeadows car park7.8 miles /12.5 km, ascent 2690feet/820 m.


Sunday 23:

Tweeddale Ramblers.Fala Moor Circular. Amoderate walk from Fala Village, crossing the A68 and ascending to Fala Moor, past Fala Flow Loch, Upper Brotherstone and Gilston Farm. Walk up road to Soutra Aisle and return via High Wood. 9.30 am meetingin Kingsmeadows car park. 9.0 miles/14.5 km, ascent 492 feet/150 m.


Saturday 29:

Tweeddale Ramblers.John Buchan Way. Astrenuous walk from Broughton, following the John Buchan Way via Hammerhead, Harrowhope, Stobo, the Glack, Cademuir and back to Peebles.9.00 am bus from Peebles post office to Broughton.  13.7 miles / 22 km, ascent 1640 feet/ 500 m.
