Advice and support for people in Borders living with sight loss

If you, or someone you know, is blind or partially sighted and would like advice and support about living with sight loss, then Alison Paton Day, vision support officer for the charity RNIB Scotland, will be holding free drop-in sessions in Peebles this spring.
No appointment is necessary. However, if there is a particular visual aid or item of equipment you would like demonstrated, please phone to check it will be available. You can contact Alison on 01573410754 or 07771 940 387 (mobile).
The drop-in sessions will be held in:
* Monday, May 8th (1-2.30pm) – Peebles Library (Chambers Room). * Monday, June 12th (11am-12.30pm) – Peebles Library (Chambers Room) – there will be a joint drop-in session with RNIB Scotland’s Online Today team, helping people with sight loss make the most of the accessibility features built into smart-phones and tablets.
