Rosetta ELCC would like to invite families with under-fives to an open day. This will take place at our premises adjacent to Halyrude School on Saturday 13th January, 10 am to 2 pm. They’ll be lots of fun things for kids to do and grown-ups can have a tea or coffee and chat to staff or other parents.
You might know us better as Rosetta Playgroup, established over 40 years ago. For those who don’t know us, Rosetta provides early learning and childcare for children aged 2.5 to 5 years. We follow national guidelines and curriculum and are a small, friendly setting with an excellent staff to child ratio. Our staff team are fantastic and bring a lot of experience and enthusiasm. We want the best for our children and we put a lot of work into making sure that the care we provide is safe, supporting, stimulating and, above all, fun.
Parents/carers are very welcome to be involved, through coming to stay-and-play sessions or popping in at the beginning or end of sessions to see what we’ve been up to. We’re a parent-run charity so parents/carers can also get involved in the management committee if they wish. However, it is no longer the case that parents are required to help with running the sessions for children – we have a full staff team.
We still have a few spaces for spring and summer 2018 – council-funded for 3 and 4 years old or parent-funded for 2.5 year olds. We run sessions for the morning, afternoon or all day (8.30 – 3, bring a packed lunch). We’ll be taking applications for the next school year (2018/19) 8.30 – 11.30 each morning during enrolment week, 22-26 January 2018. Contact Suzanne on 01721 588087 or firstname.lastname@example.org for more details or pop along to the open day. We hope to see you there!
