8.30 a.m. Early morning Rideout leaves from South Park Industrial Estate.
9.00 a.m. Procession of over five hundred children in costume heads down from Halyrude School to the High Street via March Street and the Northgate.
9.20 a.m. Proclamation of Beltane Fair at The Mercat Cross.
Crowning Ceremony on the steps of The Old Parish Church of Peebles
10.00 a.m. The Crowning Lady performs the Coronation of the Beltane Queen, which is followed by the reading of the Beltane Queen’s Proclamation.
Grand Procession, Remembrance Service and Retreat
11.45 a.m. The Grand Procession, led by the Cornet, takes in most of the town’s major routes. Supported by Peebles Silver Band, Peebles Ex-Servicemen’s Pipe Band and other pipe, brass and cultural bands, the procession of Queen and Court, Officials and decorated lorries makes its way through the town streets.
1.15 p.m. Service of Remembrance at The County War Memorial, Chambers Quadrangle.
7.00 p.m. Bands Beat Retreat on High Street. The salute is taken by the Chairman of the Beltane Festival.
