Peebles Community Centre and Local Education Office, also known as The Drill Hall, is a busy Community Centre in which many varied activities take place. It is run by a Management Committee of volunteers comprised of members of the local community and representatives of centre user groups.
Youth Club:
The management committee run a youth club on Mondays from 6.00 – 7.30 for primary aged children aged 8 and over. Activities include ball games in the hall, pool, darts, table tennis, air hockey and art and crafts.
Adult Learning:
- Learning in small groups and 1:1
- Family learning
- Learning through computers and ICT
- English for speakers of other languages (ESOL)
- Improving reading, writing and number skills
- Employability skills

Bookings:
Peebles Community Centre has several general purpose rooms for community use. Rooms, including the large games hall with markings for various sports and games , is also available for hire for functions, weddings, dances, parties etc. A small hall, meeting rooms and kitchen with dining facilities are also available for hire subject to availability.
